USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Loans & Grants

Community Facilities Programs provide loans, grant and loan guarantees for essential community facilities in rural areas. Priority is given to health care, education and public safety projects. Typical projects are hospitals, health clinics, schools, fire houses, community centers and many other community based initiatives. Visit the following links for more information and assistance in utilizing these funding sources: Community Facilities Direct and Guaranteed Loan Program Community Facilities Grants  Rural Community Development Initiatives Not all communities are grant eligible. Your grant eligibility may be changing due to new population and community income information. Before applying, contact your Area Office to determine if your community or service area is eligible. Vermont:
