COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR COMMUNITY RESILIENCE Tuesday, April 3, 2012 & Thursday, April 19, 2012 How Resilient is your Community?    Where is your Community vulnerable? TWO WORKSHOPS: 1) A Framework for Resilience: Planning & Implementation – Tuesday, April 3, Brown Bag from noon – 2:00 p.m. – Montpelier City Hall. A session for planners and others interested in how to lead communities in a resilience planning exercise. 2) Community Resilience in Action:  Assessment and Strategy Design – Thursday, April 19th, 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – St. Leo’s Hall, Waterbury.  A session for planners, community development practitioners, emergency management planners, town management, zoning staff and others. Participants are encouraged to bring challenges facing their community. This workshop is designed to promote learning as well as generate future action items towards mitigating specific challenges.
