People's Convention for Human Rights

The Vermont People’s Convention will be a space where hundreds of Vermont based individuals and organizations, along with regional and national partners will gather to discuss and continue to develop a broad grassroots vision for the direction of the state and beyond.  Participatory workshops to explore a common vision for our future include: 

1. Healthcare Is a Human Right

2. Right to a Healthy Environment & Livable Planet

3. Education is a Human Right

4. Housing is a Human Right

5. The Right to Food with Dignity

6. The Right to Dignified Work

Agenda includes sessions on human rights, education, food security, and employment, People’s Concert on Saturday night in Battery Park (6-9), and an Interfaith service.
