Job Posting: Housing Program Officer, Office of Economic Opportunity

The Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) is hiring a 32 hr./week Housing Program Officer to join our small, committed team in the Department for Children and Families.  OEO partners with community organizations to build solutions that address and eliminate poverty and homelessness.

The Housing Program Officer provides support and coordination to ensure exceptional delivery of homeless assistance programs in the State of Vermont, with a particular focus on the Family Supportive Housing Program. This position works in partnership with community providers to stably house and support families with complex needs and a history of homelessness. Tasks vary widely and include: coordination/provision of training and technical assistance; facilitation of statewide meetings (both in-person and virtual); preparation and analysis of reports, monitoring program performance, and troubleshooting program and billing issues. A working knowledge of homeless assistance and housing programs/resources is needed.
