Ms. Fields has extensive experience in the housing and community development field. Since 1991, she has served as the Executive Director of the Rhode Island office of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation. Prior to that, she worked for the Massachusetts Government Land Bank and the Boston Redevelopment Authority. As one of 10 regional administrators in the U.S., Ms. Fields is serving as HUD’s liaison to mayors, city managers, elected representatives, state and local officials, members of Congress, private and non-profit developers, and others.
