The Coalition’s annual meeting, and joint meeting with the Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness (VCEH), as well as the VCEH’s monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16 from 9:30AM – 2:00PM at the Baptist Fellowship Church in Randolph. This being an election year, we have invited the two major party gubernatorial candidates to speak. Both Governor Peter Shumlin and Republican Nominee Scott Milne are confirmed. Given the recent high level changes at the Agency of Human Services and Department for Children and Families, we have also invited AHS Secretary Harry Chen and DCF Commissioner Ken Schatz. In the event that Secretary Chen and/or Commissioner Schatz are unable to make it, we plan to have a progress update and follow-up discussion on the Access to Housing for the Homeless round table held last April. The joint meeting will conclude with a networking lunch, followed by the VAHC annual meeting and the VCEH monthly meeting. Here is the overall agenda for the day:
