The Joint Committee on Tax Credits will meet to discuss proposed changes to the 2017 and 2018 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) at a public hearing on Monday, November 7, 2016. The meeting is scheduled at 9:00 A.M. at the Vermont Realtors Association, 148 State Street, Montpelier, VT. Here you can find the agenda and staff memo discussing comments received and recommendations under consideration for change. It is VHFA’s hope that you will review these materials and attend the meeting on November 7th, or provide additional comments before or shortly after that meeting if you are unable to attend. Regarding the 2018 QAP, staff intend to take the results of the November 7th meeting and incorporate any changes to the QAP into a draft for final review by the JCTC at a second meeting scheduled for December 7th. They hope that the draft QAP can then be finalized for recommendation and approval by the VHFA Board at its meeting in January.
