The VT, NH, ME, Tri-State Housing Managers Association Conference is taking place on October 17th to October 19th. See conference brochure for more detailed information and registration form. There are three items that we would like to bring your attention to: 1)  First, please note that the venue for the Conference has been changed to the Omni Mt. Washington, which is a 5 Star Grand Resort. The Resort requires a jacket for men when dining and attending evening entertainment. Unfortunately, The Balsams Resort decided to close unexpectedly. 2)  A VHMA member may request a scholarship for this conference. All requests will be reviewed by the executive committee and responded to within a timely manner. Scholarships shall be granted in the range of $50-$250. The following criteria will be taken into consideration during the review: · Active or inactive membership · Length of membership with VHMA · Amount of request · Total requests received for the given year · Total requests received from the same organization · Size of company · Number of requests for given event · VHMA financial position Please forward your written request for consideration to Tracy Robertson at trobertson@hvt.org<mailto:trobertson@hvt.org>.  Requests must be received no later than October 2, 2011. 3) VHMA will be offering complimentary bus transportation to and from the conference, departing on Sunday afternoon and returning Wednesday afternoon. If you are interested in free bus transportation and wish to receive additional information regarding exact times and stops, please contact Tracy Robertson at trobertson@hvt.org.
