Habitat for Humanity accepts applications

SPRINGFIELD- The Greater Springfield Vermont Area Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for a home that will be built in Springfield this summer.

To qualify, applicants must show a very specific need for decent affordable housing. They must have a household income of no more than 60 percent and no less than 45 percent of the county’s U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s median income, according to the size of the family. For example, income limits for a family of four are between $28,725 and $38,300…”
