The Vermont Human Rights Commission is seeking applicants for the position of Administrative Law Examiner/Investigator. Responsibilities include: investigating complaints of discrimination in housing, public accommodations and state government employment by locating and interviewing witnesses, obtaining and reviewing documents, conciliating complaints, conducting legal research, writing in-depth reports that contain a factual and legal analysis as to the merits of the complaint and making a recommended finding to the Commissioners. This person is expected to present educational workshops and training and conduct outreach on issues of civil rights under state and federal law.
