The Vermont State Housing Authority is currently looking to hire a Field Representative and a Coordinator of Housing Program Services. Read below for descriptions, requirements, and how to apply for each opportunity.

COORDINATOR HOUSING PROGRAM SERVICES: The Vermont State Housing Authority, a statewide affordable housing provider, has an exciting opportunity for a strong administrator to join the VSHA management team. The right individual will have strong supervisory, technical and professional planning skills. This position will be responsible for several sectors of all federal and state rental assistance programs administered by VSHA, including direct supervision of Intake, Client Services and Self-Sufficiency staff. Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years professional level experience in administrative, social services and/or outreach, including supervisory responsibilities. Familiarity with federal and state rental housing programs preferred. Position is based in Montpelier and requires travel. Visit www.vsha.org for full position details. VSHA is an Equal Opportunity Employer. *Position Filled* FIELD REPRESENTATIVE: Vermont State Housing Authority, statewide housing provider, needs a professional individual to handle all field operations for Section 8/McKinney funded housing rental programs in Bennington county, and parts of northeast Windham county and lower Rutland county. Responsibilities include working with clients, landlords and community organizations; mediating issues; administering and enforcing contracts with property owners; and performing annual reexaminations of tenants and inspections of units under the program. Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ work experience in public or private housing field, including public contact. Individual will be home-based and must reside in Bennington county, northeast Windham county or lower Rutland county.
