The Department of Housing and Community Development is seeking a Grants Management Specialist to assist with administering American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to keep Vermonters housed. Our growing and dynamic Housing team oversees several programs administered by our partner organizations. These programs ensure Vermonters are housed during the ongoing COVID pandemic and that our state continues to become stronger, despite the pandemic-related challenges. The Grants Management Specialist will work with community partners to ensure ARPA-funded programs meet performance targets and program information is adequately tracked to meet state and federal requirements. As part of this role there, will be opportunities to design and implement program metrics and systems for oversight and management. Full time at 40 hours per week $24.20 per hour with full State employee medical and leave benefit Limited Service through December 2025 Mostly remote work with at least 1 day per week in Montpelier (additional in-office days if desired or necessary) This role will allow for incredible networking and engagement opportunities with housing providers and developers across the state, as well as our robust network of service providers. Come work with the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and help administer COVID-relief programs that keep Vermonters in their homes and build more affordable housing for all. DHCD is seeking someone to join our growing Housing team to support American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded programs providing rental assistance, mortgage assistance, and a rental housing rehabilitation program. The Community Development Specialist will conduct oversight on programs empowering community partners to work towards making Vermont a more affordable place to live, and assist Vermonters in maintaining their housing, despite COVID-related economic setbacks.
