In honor of Edna Fairbanks-Williams

VLIAC’s long time board president, Edna Fairbanks-Williams, died in May of last year. Edna was a tireless advocate for the poor and low-income in our state. Edna provided leadership on the Council for many years and a unique brand of service on behalf of the most vulnerable Vermonters. Please join us as we celebrate Edna’s life with the showing of a short film about her life and work as an advocate for the poor. As always, we will hear from folks about issues of the day as we remember Edna and continue her advocacy. Chili, Hotdogs and Cornbread Thanks to the women of Bethany Church, Montpelier, for providing the meal, and Betty Edson & the United Church of Christ Department of Missions for assistance.
