Vermont Resident Service Coordinators announce Elder Abuse Awareness workshop

Elder Abuse – Raising Awareness workshop, with Janette Floyd, Former Chief of Adult Protective Services This workshop will provide information that will assist you in identifying possible abuse, neglect or exploitation and what to do with that information. There will be a discussion about what happens during the investigation process and there will be opportunity to ask questions about cases you are unsure where they fall within the realm of the Vermont Statues, which protect vulnerable adults.

Thursday, October 18, 2012—10:00 am, Thayer House -1197 North Avenue, Burlington, VT Training is 10:15-11:15 am followed by networking, lunch and the annual VRSC meeting.


  1. Admission is FREE for Vermont Resident Service Coordinators & Vermont Housing Managers Association members.

  2. Non-Members are invited to attend for $10, which includes admission & lunch.
