Vermont Conducts Annual Point in Time Count of the Homeless

Writer's picture: David MartinsDavid Martins

On January 24th, homeless service providers across Vermont conducted a one-night census of the homeless population in our state. Each year, the Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness organizes the Point In Time Count of the Homeless. This HUD-mandated count is an effort to survey the state of homelessness in Vermont for state and federal policymakers, as well as to raise awareness about how far we have to go. Visit helpingtohousevt.org to find our more about the Vermont Coalition to End Homelessness and the planning that goes into the Point in Time count.
