The Vermont Community Development Association taking recommendations for 2012 City Showcase

The Vermont Community Development Association’s Board is taking recommendations for the 2012 model city or town. Each year the VCDA Board selects a town or city to showcase the unique partnerships, hard work and vision it takes to make a successful community.  This year it was Brattleboro, and as you can see in this article from the Brattleboro Reformer, it was a very successful event. If you would like information on the projects viewed and some of the funding sources used, go to their website: The VCDA is a member-driven organization, and would like to hear from you.  Please let them know if you think your community is one that should be considered for 2012, or if you have a suggestion for another community.
