Pay for Success Model Alleviates Homelessness, Taxpayer Burden

The United Way of Massachusetts has seen great returns from the Pay for Success model of funding, which has allowed 410 people to be stably housed in supportive housing units. The Pay for Success model allows private investors or philanthropic organizations to fund the costs associated with a cause, and they are reimbursed only if the effort produces successful outcomes.
