Source: Memo to Members, March 18, 2011, Vol. 16, Issue No. 11. On March, 15, Congress passed its 6th Continuing Resolution (CR). This CR lasts three weeks and extends to April 8th. It cuts an additional $6 billion from the federal budget ($4 billion was cut from the previous CR). As far as HUD programs are concerned, most were unharmed, though the Brownfields program was eliminated. The Senate and the House still need to come up with an agreement on the budget for the rest of FY11. More Information: Memo to Members
