Shelburnewood developers pull out

“SHELBURNE — Developers for a proposed 256-unit, mixed income residential community in Shelburne canceled their plans Wednesday night — and then watched as the Development Review Board voted to grant the project further leeway.

Throughout the emotionally charged two-hour hearing, members of the public pleaded with developers John Giebink and Charlie Brush to reconsider their withdrawal of the project — and with board members to temper their “approval with conditions” that had effectively killed the project. [More ...]
