Requests for Proposals Up to $10,000.

Project Categories:

  • Advocacy in Action Projects: to support groups of individuals and organizations to plan and launch advocacy activities.
  • disABILITY Awareness Projects: to support initiatives that present positive images of people with developmental disabilities.
  • Community Support Model Projects: to provide seed money for new ways to support people in communities.

HUD Secretary Donovan Announces $100 Million in Grants Available as Part of New Sustainable Regional Planning Grant Program

“WASHINGTON – During a keynote address to The Atlantic’s inaugural Future of the City Forum in Washington, D.C., U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Shaun Donovan today announced that HUD is launching a $100 million Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant program, the first of its kind designed to create stronger, more sustainable communities by connecting housing to jobs, fostering local innovation and building a clean energy economy. HUD gives providers pre-notice of available funds

“The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has posted the Choice Neighborhood FY10 Notice of Funding Availability Pre-Notice. It gives potential applicants guidance prior to the Choice Neighborhoods funding notice, which will be published this summer.
