They work to assist other individuals in managing their substance abuse or a mental health issues. The life experience of peer specialists in mental health treatment give them an expertise that professional training cannot replicate. Peer specialists assist their peers in articulating their goals for recovery, learning and practicing new life skills, modeling effective coping techniques and self-help strategies and supporting them in advocating for themselves to obtain effective services.

Home Share Now seeks a professional, fun, nice and detail-oriented Program Manager.

Home Share Now is a dynamic program working in Washington, Orange, and Lamoille counties to address the issues of affordable housing, environmental sustainability and an aging population.

The Program Manager will work to answer inquiries about home sharing, oversee participant enrollment and carry out the dynamic process of making home share matches that are mutually beneficial.

The candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, understand the complexities of people, be willing to travel within the service area and be adept at working with a team. Administrative Assistant

We have an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in our Burlington office and we are looking for just the right team player.

Primary responsibilities include administrative support for the Agency as well as reception desk and switchboard operation. Daily tasks include answering calls, greeting incoming guests and vendors, processing of incoming and outgoing mail, filing & scanning, place office supply orders, provide support for special projects, and maintain department databases & document management system.

Associates Degree or related work experience, and proficiency in Office 2007 required. Experience within a Human Resources environment preferred. Strong written and verbal communications skills required. Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks, have a keen attention to detail, set priorities, meet deadlines and work with a wide range of individuals, internal and external to the Agency.

SQL Server Report Writer and Analyst

We have an immediate opening for a SQL Server Report Writer and Analyst in our Burlington office and we are looking for just the right team player to join our fast paced and rapidly changing organization. This is an hourly position, working part-time at 20 hours per week. Primary responsibilities include providing report writing activities for Agency Staff, working with department users to determine report requirements. This includes the development of views and formatted reports. This position is also responsible for providing backup support to the System Specialist/Network Administrator and the Application Specialist/Analyst as necessary.

Two years experience with SQL Server Integration Services/Reporting Services and Crystal Reports is required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access is required; SharePoint experience is preferred. Applicants must have experience analyzing business needs to write and maintain reports, advanced knowledge of database applications, and advanced knowledge of current MS Reporting Services. Basic knowledge of accounting and/or mortgage banking is helpful. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills are required. Must be organized with attention to detail, able to set priorities, meet deadlines, multitask and fulfill end user requests in a positive manner. Flexibility and a strong work ethic are an absolute must.
