National Coalition for the Homeless Releases Report on Hate Crimes Against the Homeless

Hate Crimes against the Homeless: America’s Growing Tide of Violence, a report released by the National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH), states that at least 43 homeless individuals were killed in the past year. National Alliance to End Homelessness Launches Youth Site Visit Campaign

On Wednesday, September 15 at 2 p.m. ET, the Alliance will host a webinar to kick off a campaign to encourage Members of Congress to visit local programs serving youth either experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The webinar will include an overview of the campaign, as well as suggested strategies for getting Members of Congress to accept an invitation to visit a program and see first-hand how it affects youth experiencing homelessness in their districts.
