USDA Rural Development has recently announced funding availability for the Section 538 Multi-Family Housing Guarantee Loan Program. Lenders interested in financing apartment projects in eligible rural areas served by USDA are invited to apply for the program.

Lenders are invited to submit applications for a MFH Loan Guarantee for either:

·       New construction or;

·       Acquisition with rehabilitation of affordable rental housing
